Lo and behold Tuggowar is playable from the browser on Itch. We have the technology now :D You be like click.. sip drink.. wait what..? it’s go time already?! I dare you to find a faster loading Itch game 😉

Anyway there are more advantages to web games than instant gaming. Like being playable on PC as well as mobile. We’ve also got these cool link-based features. Just share a link and instantly hop into a game with your soon to be outplayed buddy. EZ!

You can also share replays, epic moments and invite observers to show off your 200-IQ plays. 

We made some cool gameplay updates as well!

Bases

Your tech upgrades Nation (tier 2) and Superpower (tier 3) are now Bases that have to be built on the map. This adds another layer of strategic depth to the game. Bases make teching decisions more interesting in various ways:

• Control of bases can be (temporarily) gained or lost. For example, if you are rushing and manage to capture the enemy’s Nation, then your tier 2 cards will be unlocked for as long as you control that land.
• Bases can be Disrupted which means Nation or Superpower will be disabled for two turns. Disrupting Nation is a nice way of slowing down a fast teching enemy 😊
• Bases can be destroyed by Explosives and cards like The Dreadnought, a nice tactic to cripple your enemy’s tech.

4 cards per tier

For all you Combo Clowns out there we’ve added the option to play with 4 cards per tier (instead of 3). Having 12 Tier cards opens up a lot more options to create an epic combo deck 😊 Check it out by enabling 4 cards per tier in the settings under the “Compete” tab.
